ColourIntl agent readiness
What does “invisible to AI agents” actually mean?

It means an assistant was asked a question your business could answer, and skipped you.

Search is increasingly answered by agents that read structure — manifests, structured data, machine-readable state. They do not read layout. If your site publishes none of that, an agent has to guess from your markup, and it usually guesses wrong or moves on.

You never see it happen. There is no error, no drop you can point at. The traffic simply does not arrive.

Can you prove you can fix it?

What did you actually change? Was it content?

No. Not one word of copy, and no keywords. Six pieces of engineering.

01A capability manifestA file at /.well-known/ stating what the site can do, so an agent stops guessing.
02Machine-readable stateJSON where an agent expects data, instead of a page built for eyes. The largest single gap.
03Clean text on requestPages that answer Accept: text/markdown with content and no chrome.
04Structured identitySchema.org built server-side, so a machine knows what the page is and who you are.
05A stated agent policyBe indexed without being harvested. Disallow cannot say that. A content signal can.
06Correct canonicalsOne address per page, or every filtered URL becomes a competing answer about you.
How do I know my site has this problem?

We measure first. Here is a recent sweep of nineteen independent salon sites, scanned before a single email went out.

The two that scored well had done nothing to earn it — their platform shipped it for them. Everyone else was on their own, and it showed.

Your engagement starts the same way: with your number, not a pitch.

What does it cost?

Every engagement starts as a diagnosis. Implementation is quoted from what the audit finds — never sold blind.

Scan$500 Automated scan of the homepage, scored, with ranked fixes. 2 days
Audit$1,500 Six pages, hand-verified, written for your business. One competitor compared, effort estimates, walkthrough call. 5 days
Audit + Roadmap$2,500 Eleven pages, three competitors, an itemised and sequenced plan, plus a re-scan after the fixes ship. 8 days
Fine. What’s my score?
